The Ridvan Message for 2019 (176 BE)

On April 20, the Universal House of Justice, the international governing council of the Baha’i Faith, released the Ridvan message for 2019. The Ridvan message is a letter released each year on the First Day of Ridvan, and is addressed to the worldwide Baha’i community. These letters cover many subjects including accomplishments of the past year, the growth of the Baha’i community, and the progress of specific projects.

This year’s message reflects on the accomplishments of the past year, and calls to attention the approaching Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab, a “moment incalculably precious”. One particularly exciting announcement is that planning has begun for the construction of a shrine for Abdu’l-Baha. The Shrine will be located in the vicinity of the Ridvan Garden in Israel.

The 2019 message was read and discussed at the recent Feasts held on April 28. As always, Baha’i’s are encouraged to study the message and return to it for insight and inspiration throughout the year, and beyond.

You can read the Ridvan message online. An audio version is also available on YouTube via the Baha’i Blog.
